Authorize an Authorized App for an existing connection point?

I configured an Authorized App and can call the /ping and /protocol endpoints on the ION IMS API using Postman. I am now trying the /acceptedDocuments endpoint and am getting "Invalid client id provided" for an IMS connection point logical id that the Cloud Team setup. How do I authorize my Authorized App to access the connection point?

You cannot send directly to the Internal Application endpoint.  You need connect to the ION IMS endpoint and then Document Flow your message to the Application endpoint.  The authorization to use the Application Endpoint for IMS is not exposed.

As you are sending documents to ION,  Create an ION Connection Point in ION and use that Client ID for your connection.   The Documents registered there will be the response you get.  

The are APIs in ION to retrieve a connection point detail if you want to get the Applications capability.

Endpoint and Protocol do not check authorization so you are successful there.  When you get to an actual connection point, Auth is checked. and you error out.
