GHR Benefits - Passive Enrollment - Error Must select at least one plan for enrollment group

Does anyone have experience with this error or the passive enrollment process in general? We passive enrollment checked/enabled at the plan level, enrollment group level, and the enrollment level. We've added a employee to our open enrollment. Then ran mass finalize without the employee going through enrollment. We then get the error above in the finalize errors tab. Are we missing a step or step? The employee was previously enrolled in most all the plans. We also had preselected check with enrollment date as the preselect date option at the enrollment level.

Hello,

I believe we have a similar set up. We audit every employees' benefit enrollments before creating the OE sessions to ensure that the employee has an enrollment (waive enrollment if there is no enrollment) in every benefit type included in OE. This ensures that every employee has a preselected enrollment for every benefit type, which makes mass finalization a breeze.

Are your waive plans setup with the same entry, change and termination rules as the corresponding individual plan?

Hello Ashby,

yes the waive plans have the same set up for entry, change and termination rules. We have the waive plan set to waive by Plan Category. We auto enroll anyone in the default waive plan after 30 days of being eligible for the plan. The employees have 30 days to enroll in benefits after being eligible, after that we auto enroll everyone without benefit elections in the waive plan for every Plan Category that we set up. This ensures that every employee always has an enrollment in every plan category, which makes the passive enrollment with pre selecting benefit enrollments work well.
