We have scheduled Employee History Refreshes running nightly and are using the EmployeeFieldHistory table to report on PayRate changes. However, we have just discovered that employees with pending transactions (pending Terminations, changing RelationshipToOrg, etc.) are not writing Employee History transactions. In order for these transactions to get written to EmployeeFieldHistory or to the EmployeeTransactionHistory tables, we must run a Rebuild Employee History. This is rather concerning since it takes us over 8 hours to run a Rebuild.
Does anyone have any thoughts/comments/history with this?
