Gross Up on Gift Cards

We are starting a gift card program, where we will use add-ins to pull the Gift Card amounts into an imputed pay cat for processing each pay. The volume of card payments could be high. The rub is we need to gross-up to cover the taxes on these card amounts. Any thoughts on a clean way to gross-up for the taxes on a single imputed pay code?

Did you try PR189 with that specific pay code?

Were experimenting with the PR189, not sure it will do what I need, but thanks for the tip.

We uploaded thousands of the gift grossups up to PR82. Just setup an excel sheet with formulas in upload format and it's good to go. We load the non cash gift and grossup paycodes, with employer taxes.

I see this has been out for a good while now. What was the end result? What was the preferred solution. We have the same issue with gift cards and recording them for tax purposes? Did you use PR189 and if so how did you setup the pay code. And or did you use PR82 and if so how was it setup? Or is there another solution available?
