production schedule

I am looking to find the table that contains the production schedule to report against it. I thought it was the Operation_sched table but this does not contain all the required information from what I can tell. It doesn't have the hours scheduled listed in the table?? am I missing something??

I believe you also need the OPERATION table. Those will give you all the start and end times and you'll need to calculate the difference. It's been a while since I've tinkered with it tho...

When you say, "report against", what do you mean? What info do you need?

1. If you set up an infinite schedule, then pull the info from OPERATION_SCHED, you will have your schedule info per what you committed to, and only the estimated hrs in the OPERATION_SCHED.RUN field. The OPERATION table has the info for "reality", plus the act hrs of the operation.

2. Have you considered using the Throughput Window, Expected Throughput and/or Customer Service Impact features?

I want to output all of our resource utilization to a spreadsheet for a customer requirement.

1. are you saying the operation schedule table is infinite only??

2. we use the standard schedule.

tom, also the operation.sched table is the only one that has the actual machine scheduled to run the job. the operation table will not tell you the machine if you have a group resource assigned to the operation.

I need the total number of hours scheduled for each individual and workcenter by the standard schedule and it's corresponding available run hours.

You are working on something very similar to what I'm working on. You might want to look at CALENDAR_WEEK and CALENDAR_CHANGE. These will give you the data for available hours per your resource calendar setups. But check out Throughput WindowUtilization - you might have everything you need right there!
