LSF Security - PR299 & PR292 issues
deanna-plant
We are testing LSF Security and having troubles. Our PR299 is not creating the EFW2 file that is sent to the government & the PR292 "final" file that is sent in to the State for unemployment. Did anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you fix it? The PR299 & the PR292 jobs run successfully and the correct data outputs to the report in the print manager, but the files that get created in the lawdirprint directory do not get created with any data.

What options to you have on the PR299 Options tab? Is the File Delimiter set to '2' (EFW2 512)?

Yes. When we run with LSF Security off the files are created correctly. When LSF Security is turned on, the files are not created with data.

Deanna,
We had the same issue. The resolution can be found in KB 1204673.

We simply allow our PR users to run the jobs while logged in as themselves. This assures us that the parameters have all been reviewed and set properly each quarter. Then, once they've reviewed, modified and submitted the jobs they notify us and we re-run the jobs as the 'lawson' admin user. We have automation in place to copy, archive, prep the files for upload, etc. after being re-run by 'lawson'.

Hi Joseph,
We followed the instructions in the KB article & it is now creating the PR299 EFW2 file but there is no data in it. The PR292 still is not creating any data in the "final" file. One step closer with the PR299 but still UGH.

Yes we just ran into this and I found ctp 100557 to correct this.
