SSL for MSCM & LBI - Websphere

Looking for working advice for installing SSL certificates for MSCM and LBI websites.

Example: I want https:///mscm

Windows, no IIS, no HTTP/IHS, just Websphere 8.5.5 with appserver and node. Snoop smoketests work fine (with cert errors of course). Yes, DSSO is installed and it's working fine without any cert errors back to LSF.

What are your steps to install a CA Cert and Intermediate Cert into the specific places into MSCM/LBI Websphere security? I.E. SSL certificate and key management>>Key stores and certificates.

End result is of course, having your https:///mscm and https:///efs URL without any cert errors. Same thing for LBI/IBI

you need to import the certificate in WebSphere truststore and then change the configuration settings in mscm and lbi to use https instead of http. thanks

We haven't applied a cert to our mscm, but we did put certs in our Landmark system which also runs on Websphere with no IIS. I do know that instead of loading a cert file into Websphere you need a *.arm file. I would recommend checking out the Landmark documentation on adding certs or check IBM's Websphere documentation.

I'm not helpful, but hopefully it points you in the correct direction.
