ESS Move Life Event, Unable to Maintain Field Error
We have been unable to resolve the security issue related to users updating their home address via the Move Life Event feature of ESS. Employees outside of the HR group (HR group has HR09 record set up, others do not) receive a "Unable to Maintain this Field" error when attempting to enter their new address. I understand this is related to the missing HR09 record, but we do not want to set up an HR09 record for each employee. I have posted this in the past and received a response that we can tie all users to a ESS User record, and set up one HR09 for "ESS User." However, my IT team has not been able to resolve. Perhaps an issue of knowing where the "ESS User" is defined?? How do other organizations handle this? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
