Mingle Logout Error

It was recently brought to my attention that on IE 8 or 9, the Mingle Logout feature returns a java script error when you click logout. It works fine on my IE11 browser. We use STS authentication. Has anyone seen this before?

This is because the Mingle logout is broken. Go to the SP deployment folder (...Web Server Extensions15 emplatelayoutsInfor.CompanyOnASP) and save off the existing file InforSignOut.aspx. REPLACE this file with a copy of ....Web Server Extensions15 emplatelayoutssignout.aspx. Make sure to rename the file to InforSignOut.aspx.

Log out will work correctly, no matter what version of what browser.

Yes, Hans. I was told it was working "as designed". As you might expect, I spewed a little "honesty" as only I can about product design and usability. I don't know if it's gotten fixed, but this works so I'm OK. Other things that are more important have been addressed.

I just took a quick look at my closed incidents,. Apparently, I did not log one about this, sorry. I said yes earlier because I did contact support about other issues. As far as I know, none of my Ming.le or IPA issues have been addressed. If you want to hear that list of complaints, I am happy to share.
