Does anyone track divisions(cardiology, ortho, etc) in Lawson HR/PR? Where/How?

We use Process Level to track those didvisions within our organization.

We originally set up org units for divisions and set up the type = division. Then show that each dept reports to that division as the parent.
Ultimately, we removed them because our daily processes don't really support that type of structure any longer. (When we really thought through it, HR didn't use that structure as much as Finance does.)

We use process level to distinguish between our Active Employees and our Agency Employees. We use Divisions to track the Vice Presidents over different cost centers so we use Bargaining Unit in the PA02 to track divisions and this works for us.

We're using the User Level on PA02 to identify which division the position is in. This allows the information to flow to the employee records via the FillDefaults functionality. We went with user level because we have a union at one process level and didn't want any confusion that may have been caused by populating the bargaining unit field.

We set up HR55 groups based on accounting units which seems to be working well for us.
