PR530 file
unknown
We use a PR530 file that we send to Kronos for Payroll information, has anybody out there used this file with Multiple positions on it with Kronos? I am needing to see an example of the file layout if you can share it.

Do you mean you do your Payroll out of Kronos and not Lawson? We send multiple posistions from Kronos to Lawson but not the other way around. Just wanted to clarify.

We do Payroll in Lawson, we are now just starting a project of sending multiple positions to Kronos so that when an employee clocks in at the time clock they can choose the correct position to transfer the hours to. For example we have an employee that works in Security sometime and then the other time as a sitter, we need Kronos to be able to handle the different positions, and I think that is done via a PR530 file that gets sent to them, if i remember correctly. Payroll is new to me so any help is appreciated.

It depends on your set up in KRONOS and how you interface the information back to Lawson. Ours is done by labor levels in KRONOS that are then joined to become a Lawson position. If an employee was a sitter for one cost center as primary and then worked security, we would have both the cost center and job labor levels changed in KRONOS. When it gets passed to Lawson in the prtrcsv file, it would be the Lawson position code.
