IRS Electronic Tax Filing Vendor

Our payroll team is reviewing moving from ADP for tax filing, to managing it in-house.

Does anyone have a recommendation of which approved IRS vendor software that is easiest to use with Lawson data? Does anyone upload data to the software?

We file W-2s electronically with the IRS using the file created by Lawson. We upload time records from Asure software to Lawson.

Hi Tammy.

We are in the process of evaluating the list of IRS-approved vendors. We have 9 EIN's. https://www.irs.gov/e-file-providers/tax-year-2020-94x-modernized-e-file-mef-providers

What e-File software do you use? I'd appreciate any insight you can provide.

Julie, it looks like we are searching for the same thing. I was looking for e-file suggestions for the 940 and 941 as well.

we are using Quarterly Express Plus for 941.

Sorry but I am unsure. We haven't actually filed yet - 4th qtr will be our first e-file.
