Debbie, was there anything specific you needed to know? After ED502 runs, MA531 creates and releases all receivers sent by GHX/Vendor. Buyers then review MA53 for any errors. We have another MA531 job that picks up anything that is released from MA53 by the Buyers. Let me know.

I was looking for some specifics such as does anyone have any documentation on resolving the 856 errors? I searched the KB and did not have much luck.

What kind of errors are you receiving? The only errors I've receive are after MA531 runs. Those errors are handled by the Buyers in MA53 and are usually related to a difference in Vendor Part #s.

Please note that Infor has released a new Form PO140 that allows you to auto release EDI 856 receivers AND print delivery tickets BY location. This is new functionality that I highly recommend. MA531 has a release feature, but not a release and print.

LXiong is correct that the MA53 is used to resolve errors after the MA531. Common errors are Part number or UOM discrepancies. Another error is that an Unreleased receiver already exists. This occurs when the supplier sends to 856s for the same PO. You would just need to release the first receiver and then process the MA53.

We developed an IPA that notifies the buyer on the PO that they have an MA53 error to resolve and links them directly to the form. It ignores the unreleased receiver error. We will be developing an IPA to go back and auto process those errors so that the EDI receipt is available as soon as possible.

One best practice is to have the issue cleared before the receiving department processes a manual receipt on PO30 because the 856 receipt is hung up in MA53. If the buyer releases the receipt after a manual PO is created, buyer messages may be created on PO52 that would need to be resolved.

What application version is it for. We are in the process of upgrading to 10.0.7 apps and 10.0.9 environment and I don't see it. Thank you.

As someone who is new to Infor and doesn't have IPA experience, I'd love to see the IPA that you've developed. Is it okay to ask for the IPA, or is there somewhere I can go to get a good start on developing such flows myself?

Do you know when/what JT the PO140 was introduced? I have had IT check and no-one here can find it. We have several JTs that we are holding, pending the availability of the resources to install the programs.

Thanks djechevarr. Was able to Installed PO140 last week but haven't had a chance to test yet.

I like the fact that you can get down to the Delivery Location. Question, if you set the option to print tickets to"Y" does it only print the Receivers that were released from the PO140 job or would you have to clear your PO134 first?
