January 2014 we went live with the Benefits enrollment for New Hires, Status Changes, and Life Events. I am currently getting ready to build and test the Open Enrollment function. In November of this year we will open up the Open Enrollment bookmark for two weeks and we have not decided on immediate or pending enrollment. Any information you could share on this would be helpful. Also any information that would be helpful for a newbie to know about Open Enrollment would be greatly appreciated.

    We do immediate rather than pending. One thing to note is that even if it is immediate, if an issue of some kind is encountered when the employee saves their benefits at the end of the enrollment process, it will write the records as pending and they be visible on the bs31 screen rather than bn32.
