You've posted this question in an Infor Expense Management (XM) rather than Lawson community so I don't have a direct answer for you.
I handle authentication for a lot of our Expense Management clients and we support both LDAP and LDAPS. I wouldn't expect the conversion to be too difficult.
I think your best bet is to start with a Support ticket and they can direct you to the appropriate resource.
