ER 55762 - Improved usability of Enhancement Requests

I personally think the Enhancement Request interface could be a bit better, to make it easier to work with it. I also have often heared that other customers tried to use it, but refused because of the interface. I just found an ER for the Enhancement Request Interface. So if you would like to change something here, just vote and leave your comments:

As a hint, you can subscribe on the Enhancement Request interface to get updates of new ERs added in a specified frequency:

Go to the Enhancement Request website.
Click onto the settings symbol in the right upper corner (see attachment).
Choose the content and frequency to get updates per email (example see attachment) and 'Save' your changes.

Hi Sylvana,

thanks for adding this. It is connected to ER 40096 which is about the duplicate handling in ER-System.

1) From my point of view, the current duplicate search is almost unusable

2) If you don't pay attention your ER will not be saved.

Both points are frustrating for users. E.g. we have now 3 open ERs regarding the use of stylesheets and color palettes. If duplicate search would be better, probably this could be avoided.

You are absolutely right. And duplicate entries also make it more difficult when it comes to choose the "top 10 enhancement requests per product"!

As a reminder for the ER process phase 2020:

In our continued effort to improve the enhancement request process, it is that time of year to finish up socializing your ideas to gain the minimum number of endorsements to move them into the June Prioritization phase.

Please be aware of the following key dates:

Now – May 31, 2020: Socialize your enhancement requests (ERs):

Now is the time to socialize your ERs to determine if they can secure the minimum number of ten endorsements for all products to move to the Prioritization Phase.

All ERs that do not accumulate the minimum number of endorsements and have been in the system for 1 year as of May 31, 2020 will be moved to an archive database. ERs that have not been in the system for 1 year by May 31, 2020 will remain in the open view until May 31, 2021.

June 1 – June 30: Prioritization begins

The Prioritization View is available throughout the month of June. During this time, you may prioritize your top 10 enhancements per product for products you own and pay support on.

July – September: Product Management reviews

The Top 10 requested ERs from the June prioritization phase will be reviewed by Infor Product Management over the summer. We anticipate sharing the final results in September.

we as community should use this chance, but until now no request has the 10 necessary votes, most of them (which are not already in Research) have less than 5 votes - see attachment. So please use this chance.

Is it still the case that Infor Partners are not allowed to rate ERs? At least that was communicated at the User Group Meeting last year in Mannheim.

I would really love to participate...
