HR515 Conversion Load Program
unknown
We are interested in finding out if anyone has been successful in loading their required userfields with the HR515 conversion program. We want to use this program when we have a large number of new employees hired at one time. We have been successful in using the HR511 to do just this, but have run into roadblocks with the HR515. We get errors such as "Error: Job code must be blank" and "Error: Field name is required". At any rate the job code is not blank and we even left it blank to see if it was the problem and the message didn't change. Is there anyone who is familiar with this program willing to share their knowlege or template with us? We sincerely appreciate all the help you can provide. Thank you.

We use HR515. We have a custom job setup in "jobdef" that retrieves a file built from a custom program sent to the velocity ftp site. The custom "jobdef" in Lawson retrieves the file from the ftp site and uploads to Lawson. We are in the restaurant hotel industry and have 8,000 active employees, this is how we set up 85% of all new hires and subsequent changes, pay terms, addresses etc...

We use HR515 twice each year to mass load user fields that are used for employee groups that control health insurance rates and eligibility to some of our LP plans.
