Linking plans in ESS

Has anyone had any experience in building a benefit plan that will link to the viewing of another plan in ESS? Example-if the employee enrolls in health insurance plan X, they are also required to enroll in plan Y (plan Y is an associated health savings account). We are trying to find a way, without a customization, to force the one to link to the other. Thanks!

We have been wanting this for years for our HDHP with HSA so if anyone has an idea without customization, I'd like to hear it.

As delivered, Lawson does not have this functionality today. You cannot link enrollments in HL plans to RS plans. For our new hire and annual enrollment process using employee self-service, we purchased this functionality from a vendor named Intellias. When employees elect benefits, it only allows them to enroll in the HSA plan if they enrolled in the HIP health plan. It also doesn't allow them to enroll in the standard FSA plan.

When you say no customization does that include design studio? We have built a solution that links options like this together using custom DS forms. We don't really customize ESS just point open enrollment to a set of custom forms that walks through the enrollment process.

Thanks all for the responses. Mark, by no customizations I meant not customizing ESS-sorry should have clarified that. We do have Design Studio, so I guess that could be an option.
