For BSI Tax Factory 11.0 SaaS (Cloud) offers (requires) the ability for SSO integrating with a companies ADFS server for user authentication. This prevents another user password to be managed. Currently this is not offered in the On-Premises versions of Tax Factory.
Based on our processing timelines, even adding milliseconds to a (remote) lookup of the tax tables would have serious delays in payroll processing. Having Tax Factory hardware sitting next to LSF hardware is a requirement. So moving to a SaaS environment for BSI is not an option.
They already have the technical details worked out for Cloud deployments. Seems a marketing reason (some would call it a forced "upgrade").
What methods are there to encourage BSI to offer SSO feature for On-Premise customers?
