BSI 10 - Reciprocity

We are experiencing issues with reciprocity in TF10. We have installed TF10e and they have not been resolved. For example, with TF9, an employee working in OH and living in KY only had the KY state withholding, no OH state withholding. The cert flag on PR13 was set to 1 for OH. Now with TF10 and the same setup the OH state withholding is taken and no KY state withholding. The only way to get the results to match the TF9 results is to set the exempt flag to 1 and the cert flag to 3 for OH SIT on PR13. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have seen other threads mentioning taxable wages but I have not seen any discussion about withholding.

We are struggling with the same issues for reciprocity but our results are not consistent. For the following scenario we received three different result: employee lives in WV but works in VA has the cert code of 1 and Tax Empt code of B associated with VA01 on PR13.1 with Nexus Custom code built in 10.0 and 9.0. The 9.0 test resulted in WV wh and taxable wages. With 10.0 my test resulted in WV wh and taxable wages, my ET directors test resulted in WV wh and VA taxable wages, and the IT development tech's test returned WV wh and taxable wages plus VA taxable wages (we all used the same screen PR80.4, pay codes, employee but were completed at different times)

gFerwerda - you commented that the solution was to set in the exempt flag to "1". Are you talking about the Tax Exm field on PR13.1? I am only seeing default, B, and Y. Please explain.

My mistake. The tax exempt value on PR13.1 was 'B' instead of 1.

Thank you for your post. The tax exempt value of 'B' was consistently giving us troubles for reciprocal states as well. After sending BSI multiple logs and research, we received confirmation from BSI that the 10.0 product has an issue when using the tax exempt indicator. The fix should be released with the cyclic TF10 E.2 scheduled for December 20th.

We have found that we need to use the custom nexus data feature. We did not have this set up before. If we leave the PR13.1 as it is currently in our production system and enter a custom nexus for the state of KY (BSI0021000). Then KY SIT is taken for a KY resident working in OH and no OH SIT is taken. We are testing this now for the other states as well.
