PR24 Shift Table Updates to Rates

Hello,

Can anyone assist? We updated the pay rates on the shift table according to job code. The updates were done prior to payroll processing but the rates did not pull for the job codes. Some of the employees were paid at 0 and others were paid at.50 per hour. I know they are on the shift table because if they weren't the default amount would be .0001. Any ideas why the updates did not pull into the pay cycle? I do not think there is a report that needs to ran after the changes.

Were the time records already entered for the employees when you made the changes to the shift table? If they were, try deleting and re-entering the time records for one employee, run PR140 again, and see if that employee is being paid correctly now. We have not had this specific problem, but have seen other instances where we needed to delete and re-enter time records after other changes were made, in order for the employees pay and deductions to come out correctly.

2. Did you create a new table with a new effective date? If yes, maybe check the date on PR140 to make sure that is is equal or later than the date on the new shift table.

No we the default effective date for all changes as 1.1.1950

It looks like PR530 does read the shift table, so I would not be surprised if PR30 did this also. So it's possible if the time records were in Lawson but not released yet, they might have old shift table info on them. If it is not inconvenient, it might be worth a try to delete and re-enter one employee's time records and see if it makes a difference. That's what I would try.

I have trued creating a PR80 to see if the rates will pull in and it's still not? Unfortunately can't delete and reenter time record since this happened last week.
