PR299 csv file

I am trying to process a W2C using the PR298. One of the field on the EFW2C tab asks for the filename of the original EFW2 in CSV format. I am not seeing where the original PR299 created a CSV file, only a text file and the file type that can be opened in NotePad. Do we have to save one of these as a CSV in order to pull it in to the PR298?

Hi Colleen, I think the file you want to use in there is the W2.csv from the PR297.

When processing the PR298 to create the hardcopy W-2C, then the PR298 uses the original PR297 W2.csv file. When processing the PR298 to create a corrected EFW2C file, then you have to use the original PR299 PR299.csv file. We see a PR299.csv file when using Report Option = Detail & File Delimiter = Sequential. Hope that helps. We just used the PR298 for the first time last week and it worked pretty slick.
