This is my 6th year doing ACA work in v10, and it's the first year that my correction files will not validate in my xml reader. My original files validated just fine, and they were either all Accepted or Accepted with Errors. I've fixed the errors, updated the BN990, verified my changes on the BN96, set the BN97 records to Corrected, updated the BN27, and the BN27.2, but when I validate the non-manifest file, I get the following error:
"The element 'Form1094CUpstreamDetail' in namespace 'urn:us:gov:treasury:irs:ext:aca:air:ty20' has invalid child element 'Form1095CUpstreamDetail' in namespace 'urn:us:gov:treasury:irs:ext:aca:air:ty20'. List of possible elements expected: 'AuthoritativeTransmittalInd' in namespace 'urn:us:gov:treasury:irs:ext:aca:air:ty20'.
I set up the BN27 R1/R7 exactly the same way as I have in past years, and even revalidated my 2019 correction files using the same reader to be sure I wasn't missing something, and they are just fine. I keep the schemas and files for each year for this exact reason. When I went line by line/side by side with a corrected 2019 file and the corrected 2020 file, they are identical, but only 2020 has the error.
We installed the original YE patch, but not the 2 dated 1/29 or today since my original xml files were fine. I'm at a total loss...
