GLN's and GTIN's

Has anyone started to utilize IC11.7, and IC58? If so, please share your process as to who will be maintaining these records and how you currently input and have maintained these records. We have begun testing and of course the Lawson/Infor documentation isn't as clear as it could or should be.

We are using both, GLN for some time now and GTIN for as may suppliers as we can get information from. We have a Master Data Management team that maintains both the GLN and GTIN. MS Addins is the best way to load either of them when you first start out, and on going if needed. not sure if you know this, but make sure to add the GTIN as a Keyword Search use IC800. For GLN make sure to change the vendor PO10.1 Interface tab to 1 for GTIN in use. There is also a Print Location ID on PO flag that need to change for GLN on PO's. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer them.

Thanks for the feedback. We have seen that set up as well to enable the numbers, but then looking more into IC11.7 - Measurements tab, it made me think something else needed to be flagged as well in order for it to all work together. The fact that you can search by this number, or scan in MSCM is great as well. We are really looking forward to this but our team is pretty small so I'm looking to make it as painless as possible. We have received this detail from Boston Scientific and Cook, are their any other larger vendors (or a list), that you are already getting this detail from? It would definately help us prioritize our lists!

Also, do you have any documentation or upload templates you would be willing to share or at this point? It's nice to not have to go from scratch. If so, my email is stephanie.kowal@bhs.org .
