We are trying to save paper and time, so instead of actually printing off our invoices and mailing them via the post office to customers OR printing them off as *.PDFs and then scanning them and then sending them via e-mail to customers, we thought that we'd simply use the e-mail option found in VISUAL call up Outlook to attach a *.PDF copy of our invoice to the customer.
We cannot get that e-mail option to work. This issue is happening on a computer running Win 7. We are using VISUAL 9.0.2. We go to Receivables > Invoice Entry > Select an Invoice > Print. The drop down choice e-mail does not launch Outlook. I've checked the e-mail setup and it looks like all the information (server, user account, password, etc.) is correct. Are there other settings I should be looking for?
