Hi IPA Community,

Good Day!!!

I want to build an IPA which routes the approval on timeout (Consider Requisition Approval as an example in this case) to the Approver's reporting manager and then, it goes on following the Manager's manager and there by following the Organization structure. Any insights or workarounds are most appreciated and helpful.

The Timeout can connect to a UA, you are not required to End the flow.  The workunit is routed to the users assigned to the task that is keyed to the UA.  Assigning users to Tasks is the primary approach to routing work, but other approval flows such as JournalEntry approval use teams.    What you are after is the GHR reporting structure, and that isn't found in FSM.  Take a look at the GHR HireApproval flow.
