I am looking for someone who is an expert in the FLSA calculation on Lawson S3 payroll. Anyone game?
We have this example (healthcare)
Reg Pay 40 hours @ $50 per hour
Reg CRN Pay (a diff) 40 hours @ $12 per hour
OT Pay 5 hours @ $75 per hour
OT CRN Pay 5 hours @ $18 per hour
Reg pay and Reg CRN pay are both set up as "Normal Rate" pay codes.
OT Pay and CRN OT Pay are both set up as "Percentage Rate" pay codes, with rate = 100% and overtime premium = 50%.
When the FLSA calc takes place, it includes the CRN pay and calculates a blended (or 'actual') rate of $62 per hour (50+12)
With this thought, then total pay should be 40 hours @ $62 per hour plus 5 hours @ $93 (62 * 1.5) per hour for a total of $2945.
I can't get the PR132 to calculate this. It seems that the PR20.2 "Prem Cr" flag is being ignored for the CRN OT Pay.
The OT pay is included in the OVT pay class that is indicated on HR00.
If I include the CRN OT pay in the OVT pay class, then the CRN OT is paid at the full overtime rate calculated by the FLSA calculation - in other words it pays like a normal pay code and not a differential.
I'm attaching an Excel file with some details.... would love to know what we are doing incorrectly. I have an open ticket with Infor and they are installing a patch tonight, just to make sure, but we're on PD version 132 already
