Need focus back on Validated field when there is a Validation Error

Hello all,

I am doing a Method call to do validation on a field on my form. 

All works well with the validator, however after the Error Message displays, the focus is not on that field. It goes to the next field in my tab order. 

How do I get focus on the "Validated" component?

I resolved this ..... I didn't have it as an actual validator.
