P-Card

We are looking to implement the P-Card program here at the hospital. Does anyone currently use the program? What bank do you use? Who is the administrator of the program? AP or Materials?

Did anyone have any issues with the program?

We use the PCard here and our bank is JP Morgan Chase. Depending on your internal procedures for review and approval, you may or may not have challenges using the delivered functionality. We have a dual process that required some creativity to allow the card holder to review the transactions and the card approver to be able to approve the transactions. It required us to split the security on PD20 so only the approver could actually approve the transactions since there is only one screen. One caveat on this is that the approver can delete amounts and the transaction will still process out-of-balance. We've had some approvers accidently delete amounts which put our payment tot he bank out of balance. There is no known way to prevent this from happening.
