On an Asset Record split action the cost assigned to the resulting asset interface records is spread equally across the records. In most cases, the resulting asset interface records' cost are not spread evenly across the resulting split records.
Providing the ability to update the cost for the spilt records would streamline the process and remove the need to adjust the asset cost post interface.
