Adding Company Property (PA16) to Term Action

I'm trying to figure out a way to include a flag on the termination action or some way to identify if an employee has any company property when their employment is terminated. It would be helpful to have an indicator on the term action as a reminder to check for company property because sometimes it gets overlooked. The only solution I have is to create a user field to add on HR11 when company property is issued to an employee and then add that to the term action. I'm certain there is a better way and am open to suggestions from the user community. Our company is on 9.0.1.8 and is not using process flow at this time.

Without work-flow enabling your Personnel Actions (using Process Flow) then your options are limited. Your work-around is probably as good as any.
