Issues printing P60 on Opera3 VFP 2.81.01

Had a few calls from larger customers having issues printing the new P60's is there more then 30 employee's. 30ish print okay and then the rest either print blank paper or don't print at all. Got round this by printing to screen first and and then printing from the preview screen

Anybody else seen this ? 2.81.01

hi, thats interesting. We had that on a site that was trying to print 622 out - so I spooled them & it spooled all the PDFS fine. So I put it down to a printer memeory type issue. if opera Spooled it fine, then that eliminated opera.

But we have another site where they can spool 140 or so invoices in batch processing, but if they print them, it prints out say 70, then the rest blank. this has only just started happening, without an upgrade, but similar to the above.

We had exactly the same yesterday but with employee record print, either printed some of the pages (not many) then either just completely stopped or printed lots of blank pages. I don't think they got anywhere near 30 to print. User has numerous companies, if very small it all went through

To get around it we printed to screen and then printed from here which was fine

The P60's they email so I am presuming they all went okay

Hi I had a customer yesterday put the P60s to PDF fine but when they came to print got an error saying someone else was using the file. I dialled in and one of the report files was missing copied mine over and then clicked on retry and all worked as it should.

It sounds like your customer clicked on ignore and as it didn't have a report layout just printed out blank pages.

Interesting. I have a site currently on 2.71.00, which for the last three weeks has been having problems in SOP progressing to invoice. Their invoice is three chained reports, after about half an hour of progressing the 2nd and/or 3rd part will be nearly blank. The PDF copy attached to STRAN is fine.

They have been coming out of Opera, restarting machine to continue.

I am going to try setting the old report behaviour after seeing this.

This may be to do with a Windows 10 March update that was causing blue screen errors when printing. They released a fix which then caused an issue similar to this - blank pages, missing graphics and so on. They then released another fix (below) which addresses that.

Apparently increasing GDI resources in the registry might also fix the problem:

So I'd investigate along those lines.
