IE 11.17x Compatibility issue

Our company is rolling out IE 11. We are on EMSS 9.0.1.4 and Env/Portal 9.0.1.12. We manually installed IE 11.x.x.16672 to test out compatibility and it worked and still does work fine for us. Some of our business users had their browsers updated to version 11.x.x.17041 and now when they go into the drillaround dialog and bring up the search window, it is blank rather than allowing you to enter criteria to Find or Filter. When they use a browser with the lower 16x version, it works fine. Has anyone else had this type of issue?

Did you confirm that the problem was related to the IE updated?
Our organization is looking to move to IE10/IE11 next year, but because the Design Studio tool is not (yet) supported on IE11, we're leery of moving to the latest IE version.

Great timing, Gary -this week, I've been running to and fro to get this issue resolved for our users as well.
Issue: We are running 9.0.1.12 and users are starting to report IE11 issues with the blank search window in Portal.
This is a Microsoft Patch issue. The patch that breaks searches in IE11 for portal is KB3008923.
If you have not removed the patch from the user's PC you can download and apply Microsoft fix KB 3025390. I've downloaded and applied this patch to my PC and verified that IE11 search windows are working now. I'm working with our PC Help Desk support team to get this KB fix distributed to our IE11 Portal users.

Thanks Marilyn! I think our infrastructure team finally got this resolved by applying several patches and fixes - they rolled out one version to everyone and had another version of 11 available for employees to download, so was hard to figure out what was what.

Nice! I'm glad to hear this was resolved for your team. We have change freeze on our end for year end, but are working to get this distributed to our business asap. Fingers crossed that we get our IE11 patch fixes in sooner than later.

Thanks for sharing this one we are looking at it now. We are also on 9.0.1.12 and trying to keep everything running on I.E. 8 until we upgrade to 10 but our tech teams are moving everyone up to I.E. 11 now which is creating some issues for use becasue of it.
