I'm reaching out to see how other LN users are handling Amazon's ASIN. From what I understand the ASIN is Amazon's unique ID for an ITEM and UOM combination.
Ex. ITEM: ABC UOM: EA ASIN: 123
ITEM: ABC UOM: PK ASIN: 456
In the amazon portal they only reference ASIN forcing our order entry to have to look up what ITEM and UOM combination to use.
Just wondering if there is a better way to handle this. Are others using separate items per ASIN? Customizations?
Also, we don't currently trade EDI documents with Amazon but we will be one we get all our data lined up. Based on their 850 guide they do provide an ITEM & UOM.
