Xtend M3 for List APIs

The requirement is to create List API similar to CUSEXTMI for Get, List etc.

Can we create Xtend M3 customized table & use List API for the same?

Will there be any impact if we retrieve more than 9999 records in List API using Xtend M3? Any impact on Performance?

Not sure why you would create a XtendM3 API as a list transaction. MDBREADMI, CMS100MI and EXPORTMI should have the capability needed and they do work on top of XtendM3 Dynamic tables.

Thanks for reply. However currently we are using CUSEXTMI for CUGEX1 tables. But now in MT Infor asked us not to use these tables to store transaction data. So we need to create Customer tables & save additional information there.

For those tables we need to create List APIs. We can create APIs but not sure on performance of Xtend M3

Hi!

As I wrote above the current API tools MDBREADMI, CMS100MI and EXPORTMI all work and can use the dynamic tables (which is the replacement for CUGEX tables). Please explore the standard path prior investing in tailored XtendM3 API´s for list/Get transactions. If you in the end decide for tailored XtendM3 API´s it should be no problem using them also as a list/get API

Also currently API like EXPORTMI can not retrieve more than 9999 , Xtend M3 APIs can return more than this? Not aware what is Max record set up for Xtend M3 APIs

Try use Batch and not Trasaction Type..
