Config Console - User Action Help

Hello,

We are attempting to pass some user fields from the Job Application to the Employee Contract business class. I have created an Exit Rule as part of a configured user action (TransferApplied) and the user fields are successfully coming across on completion and approval of a transfer however it is creating two contracts rather then a single contract with the additional fields.

We have attempted to invoke either the CreateFromTAOffer or Create Draft action with the same result; 2 contracts being created instead of 1.

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated!

This response is directly from one of our technical consultants:

In the delivered TransferApplied Exit Rules, there are statements to create the EmployeeContract records. Because they are calling another create action in their ActionOverride, I would think this is the reason that it is creating 2 records, 1 in the delivered action, and 1 in the action override.

Hi Josh,

Hard to know without digging in further, but maybe the Transfer Applied action created the Employee Contract records in the delivered action.

You could try an update invoke.

Invoke Update EmployeeContract:

fill in fields from this instance
invoked.UserField1 = UserField1
invoked.UserField2 = UserField2

if you can send me the lpl for the Transfer Applied action I could tell u if it’s already creating those records in the delivered action.

When I attempt to use "invoke Update EmployeeContract" I get an error that says "This invoke to an arbitrary business class is not valid"
