Enhancement Request Endorsement (ER 72856) - Mass release of journals does not provide error report

The Mass Release function in Global Ledger (Release Journals) does not provide an error message if any of the selected journals error out and remain unreleased. During testing our end users identified several journals that errored out. These are journals that passed account validation and are in balance yet have an error preventing their release (example: defining the journal type as "Inter Entity" while transaction lines do not cross entities).  The current workaround requires the end user to perform the release function on individual journals. 

ER 72856 was created to remedy this issue and requests that an error report be included with the Mass Release function.  Please consider endorsing this ER.  Thanks so much!

Instead of using Action, Release Journal Entries, select the journals you want to release and use Actions Release.  The error message is populated on the screen and you can get the details by hovering over the red exclamation point.  The errors will stay on that form until you refresh the list.
