Operational downtime procedures during monthly CU

Hello,

We are just live on FSM and are hoping to learn what downtime procedures your operational users utilize during the CU downtime window.  Specifically for Supply Chain and MSCM processes.  Does anyone use an offline bar code tracking tool when offline?

Hi Jeff,

We just use pen and paper because in our organization thankfully the CU takes place at a time and for a duration where the quantity of materials issues is small enough that it's feasible to do so. However, I'll be following the thread with interest as we're always in favor of process improvements. If someone were to create an enhancement request in which MSCM on the handheld devices could be specifically used to cache transactions during an update or outage, we would upvote it.
