Description mismatch for selection field in MRS003/B1 and Homepage widget input field.

Hi! All,

Just wanted to be sure that i am not missing any configuration/setting out here before I report as bug to Infor.

Infor M3 CE: If I check the MRS003 for the transaction the description shows as below:

While when I check the Homepage widget in the input field it shows as 'Product' instead of 'From Product' and 'To Product' as below:

Should it not inherit from the MI program?

I even tried changing the Homepage JSON file but after I click the selection and record is displayed it reverts back to description that is 'Product'.

Hi Ajay.

This looks like a custom API that you have created via CMS010 and CMS015.

Whenever you make a change to the custom API's you need to clear the cache. What I would recommend you do is make sure in CMS015 that the API is set to a status of 20, if it is not then highlight the record, right click -> related options -> and click on "Update MI Repository (Ctrl+20)".

Once this is done you will need to clear the cache. There are multiple ways you can do this. Either in the Metadata publisher or via ION API. but you need to run an API - MRS001MI.ClearCache. pass "CMS100" into the parameter MINM. It's easiest in via Metadata Publisher

*Please note that whenever you make a change you need to clear the cache. I have made it a habit of running this API whenever I Create a New/ Amending an Existing or Deleting a Custom List API.

Refresh Widget and then the Homepage and it should be working.
