TIMECARD/PRTIME - determine how record added
deanna-plant
For audit purposes, we are trying to report out timerecords that were added/changed in Lawson versus being interfaced in from our Kronos time & attendance system using the PR530. Is there a field in the TIMERECORD and/or PRTIME table that will tell me if the PR530 was used? The User field shows the NT # but I can't tell if the user loaded the timerecord using PR530 or manually entered it on the time entry screens. Any thoughts on how I can extract this type of information?

We run a PR135 while time records are still in batches to let us know which batch the time record came from. Then we run a report in access just before the PR140 runs for the final time to capture any time records which were changed/added along with the user ID of the person making the change.

Curious...Are you using the PR135 downloaded to csv to do a comparison to the the TIMERECORD table in your Access database?

No. Our audit looks at the date/time stamp on the time records to determine which ones have been changed since time records were originally loaded.
