Can I use ION to query the data lake for a single value and output it into a workflow parameter?

It seems the results API for compass queries will not allow me to address the $['data'][0]['field_output'] in the api results because the results swagger only allows headers to be assigned?

Is there a work around to capture the single field returned into the workflow?

You can assign the value of a response field to a workflow parameter.
