We had issues as we tried to go from AIX 7.1 TL5 SP6 to AIX 7.1 TL5 SP8.

Has anyone run into issues with the AIX patches like us? We are trying to go from AIX 7.1 TL5 SP6 to AIX 7.1 TL5 SP8 (released in April 2021). This also caused OS java fix pack update Java 1.7 SR10 FP85 (from FP70).

After the AIX update, we are unable to access the URLs, the services come up without any good descriptive errors. So far, we have tried to revert OS java back to FP70 & WebSphere files/directory permissions have been checked with no success. We just wanted to know if there is a cleaner path forward with the AIX patch without taking an environment patch for LSF & Landmark

We are using LSF version 10.0 MSP#7 & Landmark version 10.1.1.78.5443

We would like to speak to anyone that has successfully installed TL5 SP8.

I've been working with is for quite some time - found that the new AIX java was not consistent with the BC versioning.

From Infor support: ...

wanted to let you know that development has resolved the BC issue but only in Landmark v11 CU45 which comes out in Sept. It is more of an issue with v10.1.1.x and regardless if development did deliver a CU for 10.1.1.x you would have to apply it. It would be in your site best interest to move to Java 1.8 for LSF, Landmark and WAS, then update to Landmark v11.
