Configurable Home Pages (CHP)

Hi Everyone,

I am new to CHP development so was wondering if anyone can point me to some resources on how to get started.

My goal here is to download a CHP(.zip) and then modify some html or javascript within that. The problem is when after I download the zip file, extract and pull it up in VS Code, there are other dependencies that I need to download in order for me to run it locally. I am wondering if there is a step I am missing in order for me to execute it locally.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hello Rohan,

I am not sure what you mean by CHP. Are you talking about normal homepages in the Infor portal? If so, you don't edit the definition of those manually. You should edit them within the homepages browser UI.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for your reply. What I am looking specifically at is the RAVE functionality. We are interested in using that feature within our organization. I tried using the RAVE widget but it is missing the attachment box and that is important to us.

Is there a way to pull up the attachment box within the RAVRE widget?

Rohan,

The Rave widget is configurable with the correct IFS role, however it cannot be redesigned or have its code changed. I would look into your HCM documentation on the Rave widget to understand what can and can't be configured. Alternatively, I would post in one of the HCM communities. I am not an expert on that particular widget and cannot comment on if attachment function is possible.
