Lawson Transaction Node - BN32

I am trying to update a BN32 record using the Lawson Transaction Node; however, due to multiple BN32 records existing, the process fails. Employees may have more than one record in BN32 so the order could also be different. There isn't any filtering tab on here so any suggestions on how to only update a specific record?

Jose, are you trying to set up a flow to do mid year/life event type benefit changes for employees, or do you need to do a mass change on everyone? Normally, if the employee has elected a new level of coverage, you would stop and restart the benefit. The easiest way to do this for a few employees is to use an ags call to BN32.3. Below is an example of one we use for HSA. You would want to populate the BENN-COVER-AMT and BEN-PEND-EVIDENCE instead of BEN-PAY-RATE,PRE-CONT-TAX-STS, BEN-PRE-EMP-CONT, and BEN-EMP-AFT-CONT.

If you need to do a mass change, I would use BN531.

Hi Jose, populate the BEN-COMANY and BEN-EMPLOYEE fields. Populate the "r0" fields with either the current values of the BN32 record you want to change - at least the fc, plan type, plan code, and start date, I believe. Populate the "r0" field of the value you want to change with the new value.

Thank you. My issue is that the "rX" value can vary depending on the employees records so I would need to identify it so i know which "rX" value to update accordingly.

Nope Jose, you actually don't need to know. Just use the r0 row in the ags call inside your lawson transaction node, and Lawson will find the record. Give it a try in your test system.
