XtendM3 Timeline.

Xtend M3 Team,

I have a client incident where they are asking about Xtend M3. Details below:

We have several custom applications and integrations that use the CUGEX1 for transactional data. We have been told by our external consultants that these all need to be change to use xtendM3 Table and API prior to October. Need to confirm this time table.

I was not able to find any KB articles with this information. Can you confirm this time line or direct me to where I can find more information on it.

Changes requiring advance customer actions planned for August 2021
Please note this is a special update done due to the severe risk of system instability if XtendM3 extensions overuse hardware resources. Please note that this update only affects non-production environments.
M3 CE Core: XtendM3. Enforced runtime limits (Non-Production Tenants) Runtime limits have been introduced for XtendM3 extensions, enabling termination of all extensions that exceed the pre-defined time or load limit. Reason for the change: This enables the control of the Extension to better support the overall system performance and the stability of the extensions. Result of the change: Long running Extensions will be terminated Actions required prior to activating the change:
This feature will be immediately activated for non-Production Tenants. Existing extensions should be reviewed to ensure they are compliant with the design principles defined in the Extensions Training Sessions; and do not run for excessive time. Availability
