Hello,
I have studied a little bit more closely the mechanism of the prints supported by M3 IDM Output Management.
If my understanding is good, all standard layouts use a logo which is in the File directory of IDM and which is called LogoMedium.
So, in principle, if we download a new version of this file but with a client logo as content, it should allow us to update all the layouts in one go. Is this way of doing the "good practice"?
But I still have 2 questions about this:
- There are several LogoMedium files after the Content Pack and the Implementation Accelerator method, as in the Word Add-In the query is /MDS_File[@MDS_Name="LogoMedium"], how to make sure that the file I download in this same directory is going to be the one that will be used? I made several attempts by taking care of naming the elements and attributes but it is always the Infor logo that takes precedence
- Then, on a longer term management, how can we avoid that the logo is not updated after the deployment of a new version?
Thank you for your advice
