In the August 12th Weekly release, a new function in Admin has been introduced, called Certification Programs Utility.
An Administrator now has the ability to assign multiple certifications to multiple hierarchy levels using a Certification Programs Utility with an option to make certifications either defaulted or not defaulted at a hierarchy level.
The utility is accessible from Admin > Certifications > Other Options > Certification Programs Utility (under the … options).

Instructions:
- The Administrator creates a certification import file as an .xls file containing two fields in this order:
- Column 1 will contain the CertID
- Column 2 will contain the LevelId
Sample Import File:

- The Upload File button allows the Administrator to select the .xls import file. The File Name, Date modified, and File size fields will be populated once you select and upload the file.
- Selecting the Default to Level checkbox will ensure all certifications will be defaulted to the level specified in the import file.
 |
Defaulted and non-defaulted certifications programs must be uploaded separately. Infor recommends Administrators create a separate file for defaulted certifications and non-defaulted certifications and label the files accordingly. |
- Select Process.
Limitations:
- The option to specify the certification requirements will not be available. By default, the certification requirements are not included when assigned to the level
- The assignment(s) will not cascade to any child levels. The Administrator is required to assign the certification(s) to any child levels
- Historical log files will not be included
- An Excel .xls will be the only supported file type
