ESS for 2022 benefits and FSA

I set up my open enrollment as always in ESS. Every single plan works as expected EXCEPT the FSA Medical and Dependent care., When it gets to this plan, if I select the plan for 2022 the system will just "spin and spin" for eternity.

I set up the cycles on BS06

The plan is set up for no coverage and flat contribution

It is not a new plan, it is the same plans as last year which worked fine.

I have put in a ticket to INFOR and we have not come up with a solution.

Has anyone experienced this? We do have 27 pay periods in 2021 and 26 in 2022. Does that have anything to do with this? the BS cycles are set up correctly.

This is for annual enrollment.

HI Marla, have you tried enrolling a test employee in the 2022 plan in portal, to see if it is successful, or if you receive an error?

yes. I primarily have been in "TEST" environment, but also tried it in "live" and it did the same thing.

If you can enroll employees in the 2022 plan in Lawson portal but not using ESS, here is what I would check (please ignore if you have already done these, or if I am explaining things you already know).

Check the frequency table the plan is using on BN15, and then check BN02 to see whether the divisor is 26 or 27. If it is 27, try changing it to 26.

Check BS31 for one of the test employees you tried to enroll, and see if there is a flex plan record on there or not.

Check the logs in the system folder for errors, or ask your IT person to do this for you. If you see an error associated with trying to enroll a test employee in the flex plan, send it to support.

If everything else looks good, tell support you would like to send them a fiddler trace of you enrolling a test employee in flex through ESS and have someone review it (fiddler records web activity and may be able to show where the problem is occurring). If they act like they do not know what you are talking about, request that they transfer your incident to the Lawson technology group. They can instruct you in using the fiddler application, and they also have people who know how to review the trace. Your IT dept may be able to assist you with setting up and saving a fiddler trace as well.

thank you for correcting the table location. I was checking Bn15 and couldn't find one. Yes everything you said I've done, but checked again. the Infor analyst has asked for a Fidler file, which I am waiting on from my IT department.

It is just so frustrating. I spent a good 6-7 days really searching and searching before I reached out to Infor. They did a webex with their Benefit expert, and couldn't find anything. So now I am waiting on the second Fidler. The first Fidler didn't show any thing.
