I need to add a gender option for dependents on HR13. Currently, we have M or F and I need to add Non-Binary. Can someone direct me to the screen where the options are maintained? I appreciate any guidance on that, thank you!!
Hi Vanessa, as far as I know, the gender on HR13 is hard coded in the screen code. If you need to add an option, you would either have to customize the HR13 screen code or possibly use Design Studio to modify the list.
You can't change the actual Gender drop down list, but they did come out with 2 new fields, Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation to HR11 which are user defined.
Don't forget to verify any files you send to your vendors (for benefits) that send out the sex code. Make sure they accept the new code or you will have to crosswalk it to another.
