Sending A success message from an acknowledgement IEC mapping

I am developing a Process IEC mapping that retrieves values from 3PL and sends acknowledgement in case of failure. Can I also use the Acknowledge IEC mapping that is coming from the Process IEC mapping to send a Success message or is it only called in case of an error in the corresponding Process BOD mapping?

Hi

For the Process in BODs, we always acknowledge that the BOD is received at the M3 end. Even if the BOD is errored out or processed successfully in the mapper. We can put out own logic in the mapper to send additional information in the user area to mention the status and messages and the same can be processed by the third party who is going to receive the acknolegement.

It is our choice to decide. If you check the standard BODs the acknowledgment BODs will be triggered for process BOD if the message is successfully executed so it always the response code as "ACCEPPTED".

I see.. Okay is it possible to have 2 response codes "ACCEPTED" and "REJECTED" in case of success or failure? In this case, how will it be populated inside the BOD?

I am collecting detailed information as it goes through each step in some of my Maps and then sending e-mail (using javax.mail) accordingly notifying affected people.
This helps us to advise people about any issues not necessarily producing errors, but that we still need to be aware of.
